TAPIT Team = Paul, Sarah, Richard, Deb, Maz, Karen, Monica, Clive and our guest Laura

 

           The team arrived around 9pm and after a brief tour around the property the vigils began on the upper floor of the property whilst Paul and Richard placed trigger objects and motion sensors in the cellar. The walk around proved it’s worth with all the team experiencing shortness of breath on the stairwell something witnessed by Paul & Lee on the original look around, Karen was soon to be shocked, earlier in the day she had a vision of a giraffe painting, sure enough in the Portland room was the exact image she had seen.  In the larger of the meeting rooms the team got some strange EMF activity around a window before returning to the Portland room to investigate apparent movement of some of the furniture, unfortunately no evidence of this was found after reviewing video footage.

           The first vigil began slowly but soon enough the team were hearing slight taps and knocks before a noise out in the corridor saw Paul leave the vigil to investigate, during his trip back up the stairs to the vigil something made him take a step back before he was violently scratched. On return to the vigil is was clear on film and photo he’d got a scratch above his right eye as if from a finger nail?

           The team regrouped on to the stairs to see if whatever had attacked Paul would return. The only evidence collected in this area unfortunately was an odd smell witnessed by several of the guests and team members at the foot of the stairs, this brought a second attack on Paul. Whilst the team gathered above the cellar a shuffle was heard in the cellar, Paul being Paul took the camera and down he went. The team continued to ask out and for something to happen in the cellar, sure enough Paul was scratched at again, this team leaving another scratch above the left eye. No further evidence unfortunately was collected at this time.

           The team moved into the front office where Monica picked up on  the image of an old parlour with a large fireplace in it, perhaps this is what the room once was? On leaving this room the EMF meter went off the scale around the doorway. Hitting a clear 10 for the first time during an investigation.

           During a short break both Monica and Karen revealed the feelings they had about the location, Karen felt the building had been altered in many areas something we can confirm now to be correct, she also picked up on a few names. Monica felt the presence of a man who didn’t like us grouping together in the lower floors, this man was also quite rude towards her!

           The team then split into groups to cover the building and to carry out smaller vigils and séances.

 

Team 1: Moncia, Clive, Richard, Sarah and Laura

Team 2: Paul, Maz, Karen and Deb

 

Team 1 started upstairs in the Portland Room with a glass séance picking up some good information regarding the spirit of a young male who died in that room in an accident. This spirit claimed the person who had attacked Paul was around them, unfortunately this spirit did not make the presence felt again.

Team 2 decided to begin in the cellar with a few knocks and taps, before the team heard a giggle for which everyone thought was Maz laughing, although Maz claims she hadn’t made a sound and it certainly appear on camera that this wasn’t her! The team also had some EMF interaction briefly with a spirit in the back rooms, however no constructive questions were answered clearly.

 

The teams swapped floors with Team 2 having some good movements during a table tipping exercise, Deb felt a presence in the large meeting room in one corner, Paul took a photo with nothing showing on it before he asked again for the spirit to show themselves and caught an orb in the photo (see pictures) For team 1 unfortunately however things had gone quiet on the ground floor.

 

The tea m regrouped and called it a night with no movement recorded from the trigger objects.

 

Main events of the night:

· Knocks and taps during the first vigil

· The attacks on Paul on the stairwell and in the cellar

· EMF fluctuation off the scale

· Good glass and table movements

 

On the whole a good location, offering much potential for future investigation.
