History : built in 1640, The land the court is set on was once owned by the Duke of Devonshire who also owned the property during a war against the French..

 

The Bailey family lived there around 1700 and fled around 1740 around the Christmas period.. The property was bordered up and left empty for many years. Upon removing the boards some years later found was the remains of Christmas dinner and place mats still set out on the dinning room table… What made the family leave in such a  hurry?

That is what the TAPIT team was hoping to find out!!

 

The team arrived at 2000 hrs and was shown around the property by the current owners. During the walk around the temperature and emf readings were all normal.

The team decided to walk round as one big group along with our medium Wayne Tear to see what he was picking up on.

Wayne picked up that the property was involved in a war at some point against the French and at some point people used to hide out in the cellar.

Wayne also stated that a doctor lived there for a while and was maybe being used as a doctors surgery.

Once in the living room Wayne picked up on the energy of a little girl called Elizabeth, the little girl was trying to get the attention of Monica our other medium.

It was thought that the building was also used as a mental health hospital at some point

 

Once the initial walk around was finished the team split up into 2 groups.

Team 1: Lee, Maryanne, Julie, Clive, Stevie, Karen and Gary.

Team 2: Paul, Sarah, Richard, Annette, Monica and Kev

 

Team 1 decided to start their investigation on the lower floors working from the cellar upwards.

Team 2 began in the master bedroom on the second floor and worked their way down.

 

Main events of the night:

· Team 2 torch move across the small bedroom on its own.

· Orbs caught on camera on stairwell.

· Temperature drop in hall way from 22c to 13.8c in a matter of seconds caught on camera.

· Scraping noise heard on top floor in master bedroom.

· Paul's video camera broke on arrival fully working before hand.
